Devil's Tower

Right out of Close Encounter's we spent the day hiking around this amazing structure. Some braver folks were climbing and descending as we looked on.

I remember studying about the Pueblo Indians and these unusual homes built under precipices and tucked into grotto's in the mountain side. There are literally thousands of sites. Well preserved and easy to access in and around the Cortez Colorado and Four Corners area.

Maxwell visits the art show

While we wintered in Arizona, my dear friend, Robin Damore was displaying her work at the Scottsdale Art Show. 100 artist all under one roof! Maxwell had his fill of culture, so I had to go back a second day with my friend Mary Meadows. Much better company, and a fellow art lover.

Highlights

Our first trip to the Grand Canyon. But my favorite trip was the one with Stephanie, Daniel and Naomi when they paid us a visit in 2019.

We skied seven resorts in about as many days with my good friend Anna and her fiance' Bob Patton. I can only hope to be in shape again enough to make another trip like that one.

A memorable trip with Metty on our first trip the Wyoming, and again in 2021 with our grandson, Francisco Rivera.
