I just really like this picture of the founders of a little Barbecue eatery and brewery we came across. It was just a lunch stop to top off the gas tank (ouch!). We met the manager of the Tonopah Brewery who used to travel with NFL teams and was their personal chef. (should have taken a picture with her, but I wasn't thinking) Now she moves into towns for a short while, and fixes restaurants, then moves on. Kind of like a Marcus LaMones, (the Profit) of Culinary establishments. Gotta say, the brisket was quite nice and the beers were delicious! Our server got a little nervous when she saw how long we were talking with her boss. But she had nothing to worry about. The service in this little one horse town of Tonopah was excellent. If you are ever on the road to Lake Tahoe, and want to see an authentic, still operating western town, you will enjoy Tonopah.
