On an innocent trip to the dog park, we are followed home by this menacing guy, who insisted that we picked up his gems at the dog park in Whiskey Flats, Hawthorn NV. Wade is like, "Dude, I was just picking up my dogs ball!" that had flown over the fence. In the end, just a typical misunderstanding.
So, if you are dealing in stolen gems, pick a better drop-site than a public dog park in the middle of the day. Geeeez!
You can't hear what's going on here, but Wade is saying; "Why are you following me?" (This guy was leering at us from over the fence at the dog park. He signaled that he wanted Wade to roll down his window, and I's saying "Oh hell no!" Wade guns the car in reverse and we hightail it out of there. Not to be thwarted, Sketchy guy hopped in his car and aggressively starts following us around the block and all the way back to our RV Park). Sketchy dude says; "What did you pick up at the park? Did you pick up the gems?" "Are you from around here?" Wade's like "Look at the license plate. Of course I'm not from around here. We are at an RV Park." Sketchy dude says; "What are you doing here?" Wade's like "I'm calling the police. That's what." and Mr. Sketchy dude hops back in his car and speeds away. End of story. Moral of the story, take better aim when throwing the dog's ball in the park and keep track of your gems, when visiting Hawthorn.
